Announcing SOC2 Type II Compliance at Houseware

Houseware is committed to following the highest industry standards of security and reciprocating the trust that customers place in us by using our product. Building for trust is a part of our mission and we execute it by ensuring security and reliability for our customers in our product as well as internal policies. Our latest achievement demonstrates our ability to safeguard customers’ data while ensuring the highest standards of security.

What is SOC2?

The SOC2 Type II certification is the global gold standard for information security compliance for SaaS companies. Obtaining it requires a third-party review to ensure that a vendor follows the highest standards of security as laid out by the AICPA over a long period.

We partnered with Prescient Assurance for a third-party audit and are proud to announce our certification after meeting the prescribed safety standards for several months and a rigorous review of our infrastructure, incident response plan, and internal policies. We also went through thorough penetration tests, and vulnerability checks as part of this review. Our SOC2 compliance is a big milestone on our journey to ensure that our customers’ data is treated with the highest levels of security, and we will stay committed to this mission.

Impact on Customers

Houseware allows customers to build business solutions on top of their cloud data warehouse. Customers need to have the highest level of trust in Houseware’s data security as they provide access to their core business data and build mission-critical apps on our platform.
